Terms and Conditions

  1. DO NOT switch on the refrigerator for 24 hours after delivery.

  2. The products are designed for indoor installation only. Avoid exposing them to direct sunlight, rain, or installing them in wet area.

  3. Ensure the refrigerator is installed on a stable, level surface and positioned away from heat sources and direct sunlight to optimize cooling efficiency.

  4. The installation area must be equipped with a main electrical plug.

  5. The customer must ensure that there is adequate space for the installation of the refrigerator, including necessary clearances as per manufacturer specifications.

  6. If installation cannot be completed due to inadequate site preparation or other issues within the customer's control, additional charges may apply for rescheduling or incomplete service.

  7. The warranty does not extend to defects or damages resulting from misuse, neglect, or unauthorized modifications.

  8. By scheduling an installation appointment, the customer agrees to these terms and conditions.

  9. Staircase delivery surcharge may apply and charge by delivery party if the item cannot be transported via the elevator or if the elevator is unavailable.

Warranty Terms and Conditions

  1. The warranty provided applies to manufacturing defects and covers for domestic/household use only.
    1. Defect upon unboxing, includes dent, scratches, missing part.
    2. 10 years warranty* on BLDC / compressor.
    3. Circuit board malfunction within warranty period.

  2. End users shall only engage MOVON authorized service contractors to provide warranty related services.

  3. Under the following circumstances, parts and labour will be chargeable even during the warranty period. The warranty DOES NOT extend to the followings : -
    1. The serial number of the appliance has been altered, tampered with or removed.
    2. The appliance has been tampered with, subject to misuse, negligence and damage while in transit.
    3. The appliance has not been installed, maintained or operated in accordance with instructions given by the manufacturer.
    4. The appliance has undergone repairs, modifications, or dismantled by any other person prior verification of approval by MOVON.
    5. Defect caused by abnormal voltage or in-coming power supply from a generator.
    6. Defect caused by fire, lightning, electrical disturbance, negligence, accidents and other natural disasters or due to deviation from recommended application and installation.
    7. Defect caused by household pests such as lizards, rats, cockroaches, etc.
    8. Defect caused by chemical reaction, excessive heat, excessive dust, corrosive surroundings, such as cement factory, animal farm, etc.
    9. Components parts which require replacement in the ordinary course of use due to normal wear and tear by reasons of their characteristic, including accessories.
    10. External appearance parts which include cabinet and joints against damages, scratches and ageing.
    11. Warranty will be void if the appliance is being operated without MOVON genuine or manufacturer recommended parts.
    12. The warranty does not extend and is considered void in cases of defects or damages arising from misuse, neglect, unauthorized modifications, or use for commercial purposes, covering outright purchase of the product.

  4. Relocation:
    1. A one-time FREE relocation service is provided for rental customers during the contract period. Any subsequent relocation fees will be borne by the customer. Relocation fees will apply to outright customers.
    2. The FREE relocation service applies to a distance within 50 km from the origin to the destination. A fee will be charged if the total distance exceeds 50 km.
    3. Customers are responsible for the condition of the products, including wrapping them before moving or relocating them to other premises.
