Terms and Conditions
- It is hereby agreed that MILUX and/or MOVON shall appoint third party service provider for the delivery, installation and cleaning services of the Product.
- MOVON and/or MOVON’s service provider shall deliver and/or install the Product at your registered address without any charge.
- Upon receiving the order for the Product, MOVON, shall within a reasonable period, process the order and assign MOVON’s service provider for installation, subject to appointment slot availability.
- The product shall be installed at the location recommended by MOVON and/or MOVON’s service provider to ensure optimal serviceability, functionality, and safety.
- General cleaning service is provided by MOVON and/or MOVON’s service provider every eighteenth (18th) month starting from the Product installation month and on the understanding that the Product is in good operating condition and MOVON and/or MOVON’s service provider reserves the right to charge separately for the cost of any additional service as deemed necessary.
- A written service note shall be submitted to you after each service or inspection. Any defects identified in any part or parts of the Product will be included and reported back to you.

Installation conditions
- The hood must be installed horizontally above the stove.
- The bottom of the hood should be positioned at the required measurement above the stove surface.
- Installation area must meet the required dimensions.
- No overhead cabinet is assumed in the installation area.
- Installation does not include:
- * Dismantling or disposal of old unit
- * Electrical wiring or modifications
- * Coring or cabinet drilling
- * Duct pipe and cap installation
- Customer must ensure clear access to the installation area.
- Locations above man-height (e.g., above ceiling or outside kitchen) are not acceptable.
- Customer must ensure the wall is suitable for mounting.
- Standard drilling is included for brick or concrete walls only.
- If an old hood exists, it must be easily dismountable. A dismantling fee of RM150 - RM200 will be charged for the dismantling of the old unit and does not include disposal of the old unit. Customer is responsible for arranging the disposal or recycling of the dismantled old unit.
- During dismantling, components such as wall clamps, duct pipes, or end caps may be damaged.li>
- Installation site must have a power supply within 1 meter of the hood location.
- Installation will follow safety standards.
- * Unsafe or non-compliant sites may be rejected for installation.
- Any waste from cleaning the hood or appliance (e.g., soot) will be disposed of in the customer’s household waste bins.
Warranty Policy
MOVON and/or MOVON’s service provider shall take proper care of the premises during the performance of any installation and maintenance service, no harm shall be done to the premises in part or whole.
The Product Warranty during Warranty Period as stated in the Product Rental Agreement includes: -
- General and Motor warranty: Subject to provision outlined in the Product Rental Agreement and limited to only one (1) unit motor replacement claimable once during the rental period.
- Free dismantling and installation for relocation is limited to one (1) time for the customer during rental period and is subject to prior written notice. Transportation fees are not included and remain the responsibility of the customer.
- Any subsequent replacement and relocation requests will incur additional charges and must be borne by the customer.
- Customer is fully responsible for the condition of the products, including ensuring the product is properly wrapped and protected prior to any move or transfer to another location.
If one of the following scenarios occurs, the Product Warranty shall be automatically deemed void. The following conditions are expressly excluded from the Product Warranty but subject to MILUX’s and/or MOVON’s sole discretion:-
- The serial number of the Product has been altered, tampered with or removed.
- The Product has been operated without MILUX’s genuine spare parts, tampered, misuse, site issues, negligence and/or damaged.
- The Product has been installed, maintained and/or operated by third party.
- The Product has undergone repairs, modifications and/or dismantled by third party.
- Defects caused by abnormal voltage or the in-coming supply from a generator.
- Defects caused by fire, lightning and other natural disasters or due to deviation from recommended application and installation.
- Defects caused by household pests such as lizard, rat, cockroach, etc.
- The ownership of the Product has been changed without prior written notice.
- The Product has been relocated without prior written notice.
- Wear and tear are subject to MILUX and/or MOVON to define wear and tear and assess special cases as needed.
- The Product being exposed to direct sunlight or installed outdoors, contrary to the recommended installation guidelines.
You shall pay at your own costs and expenses for the maintenance and servicing work of the Product including but not limited to any replacement parts and/or workmanship for the replacement parts upon the expiry of the Warranty Period.
